Granlanders are known for employing the use of hill raiders, who specialise in guerrilla warfare in the rugged highlands, and go through very intensive training. Common architectural features include remnants of the makeshift defenses they were said to be able to erect overnight, and sod and earthen houses, and their most known artforms are their challenging rites of passage.

Culture and Locations

Granland is ruled by a king and has the Red Temple (Arngosian Creed) as its state religion, which believes in a dichotomy of powers -- of good versus evil forces -- and this belief mostly originates from the fact that Red Temple was the heart of early Vastion culture after the Darkness. The people of Granland are brave and fiercely defensive of both their homeland and of their culture. The capital of Granland is Lomosock, and the archaios known as Dalmuver rests on the far north coast.

Granland is entirely temperate highlands, with scattered islands around its northern and southern ends and not much else in the way of significant geographic features or landmarks.
