Culture and Locations

Granland is ruled by a king and has the Red Temple as its state religion, which believes in a dichotomy of powers -- of good versus evil forces -- and this belief mostly originates from the fact that Red Temple was the heart of early Vastion culture after the Darkness. The people of Granland are brave and fiercely defensive of both their homeland and of their culture. The capital of Granland is Lomosock, and the archaios known as Dalmuver lies on the north coast.

History and Relations

The kingdom has been the heart of ancient Benevan culture for around 2000 years, and was formed in its modern state after the Benevis Empire broke apart in 550AL after the assassination of Emperor Halartus Benevarus. Most people in Granland are of local ethnicity. Granland has been politically and militarily threatened by Umberia for a long time, and Granland uses its remote location and political hostility to keep a sort of neutral peace on the island of Nor. They are interested in the Leren Alliance. Granland mainly exports hide.

Military and Art

Granlanders are known for employing the use of hill raiders, who specialise in guerrilla warfare in the rugged highlands, and go through very intensive training. Common architectural features include remnants of the makeshift defenses they were said to be able to erect overnight, and sod and earthen houses, and their most known artforms are their challenging rites of passage.
