The kingdoms of Temanea are a collection of five kingdoms joined in an alliance, mostly surrounding the Gold Sea of eastern Suribia. These are the Porosoea, Veherdea, Ladera, Baradea, and Hodea Kingdoms. Also in this region are the Sema people on the Hoda Peninsula, the Teruveans of Teruvas and nearby islands, and the Sopones on the Espel Islands. Ahoreans of Grave Island are also considered to be descendants of Temaneans.

The Hoda Peninsula and Hodea Mountains see a lot of monsoonal rains earthquake activity and are some of the warmest places in Temanea. Greenstorm Peninsula, Teruvas, Lesser Teruvas, and Lone Island also see a lot of rain and flooding, and are very green locations. The Southern Plains are the most inhabited part of Temanea, and the ancient city of Hoda in the Bay of Teman has been the home to the most emperors and the greatest kings in the history of Temanea. West of the Bay of Teman is the Golden Basin, once a stretch of prosperous mining towns along the Goldwater River. The gold miners here are responsible for much of the success and wealth of Temanea throughout history, as it is one of the most gold-abundant places in the history of Riiga. The western border here stops at the Blood Mountains, so called because of all the lives lost in the countless wars between Temanea and Dunin over time. The eastern half of the Great Mancisa Plain contains the Laderea Kingdom, and is mostly cold grassland and open forests. The Northern Plains are similar, though the Protesan Mountains to the north help shelter it from arctic winds. The Uplands get the coldest and windiest weather in Temanea, and are seen as the least prosperous kingdom.

This land spent most of the Lyte Era and part of the Silver Era as one empire, united under the second Hodasean emperors. Prior to this empire, Hodasea was a republic state, but before that it was the first Hodasean Empire. Though there are no longer any emperors, the alliance of the five kings keeps Temanea fairly united.
